Biography:

Jacques Baart (oral and maxillofacial surgeon) graduated as a dentist in Nijmegen (1975) and as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon at the Free University in Amsterdam (1979). Baart kept working at the Free University Medical Centre as Chef de policlinique and Chef de Clinique. He has an interest in doing research in the field of cleft lip and palate. Baart is (co)author of several dental handbooks and appr. 125 articles in national and international journals. With respect to patient care, Jacques Baart focuses on in-/ and outpatient treatment of children with congenital and acquired abnormalities.
